When the Mardi Gras is just around the corner, are you ready to celebrate it? The origins of Mardi Gras can be traced to medieval Europe in 17th and 18th centuries. By the 1730s, Mardi Gras was celebrated openly in New Orleans, but there is no parades as today. Please visit New Orleans at that time. You may ask me what time is it?  It is the last day of the Carnival season as it always be the day before Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent. It is a holiday which celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Please dance with the strangers and it is so funny and interesting. You can also buy a wig and a mini top hat. On that day, it is also the day for eating up the last of the rich foods that remain in the house and for having a big celebration before a long period of discipline and repentance.

On that day, people all become into merrymaking. Today, there is a bit to do with religion. It is called the carnival. The celebrations are unsurpassed in splendor. Do you enjoy the masked balls, elaborate costumes, parades and other festivities? Then come to New Orleans or even Venice cause it is celebrated around the world. The New Orleans Mardi Gras celebration begins on Epiphany and ends on “Fat Tuesday.”  Then, as you all know, book your Mardi Gras hotels as soon as possible.
